How It Works:
When you open a job listing, the extension automatically checks the community database. If the listing has been reported 3 or more times, a red warning banner appears at the top of the page. You can also report suspicious listings by clicking the 👻 button in the bottom right corner.
Why Is It Different From Other Extensions?
Most LinkedIn extensions use scraping — they parse LinkedIn's HTML structure, extract profile data, and act on behalf of users. LinkedIn detects this and bans accounts. Ghost Buster only reads the job listing ID from the URL. It never touches profile data and never scrapes anything. That's why it carries absolutely zero ban risk.
