Overview:
KindnessSender lets you send short, anonymous messages of encouragement to people who’ve opted in to receive them. Open the popup, write (or AI‑generate) a kind note, optionally include your country/city, and send. The extension confirms delivery, tracks your daily streak, and shows live community stats.

Key Features:
AI message generation: Craft uplifting notes in seconds with selectable type (e.g., kindness, love, mood booster, inspirational, quote), language, and optional keywords. Shows an English preview when needed.
One‑click sending: Open the toolbar popup or use a small floating button on popular social and news sites for quick access.
Live stats: See total “Kindness Sent” and “Countries Reached,” updated from the server and cached locally.
Daily streaks + badge: Builds a daily sending streak and shows today’s count on the extension badge.
Reminders & notifications: Optional daily reminder at your chosen time, success notifications when messages are sent, and a “Send Test Notification” button.
Location (optional): Share your country (and city when available) to add context for recipients. You can turn this on or off anytime.
Privacy tools: Clear your local history, export your data (JSON), reset settings, and configure exactly how the extension behaves.

How It Works:
Write or generate a message: Type your own or use “Generate with AI,” then optionally choose a language and keywords.
Optional translation: If you write or generate in a non‑English language, an English version is provided for delivery while preserving your original in the UI.
Optional location: If enabled, the extension uses your chosen country/city (or detects it when “Auto‑detect Location” is on) and includes it with your message.
Send: The message is validated server‑side and delivered to a random recipient who signed up to receive kind words. You get an on‑screen confirmation and a desktop notification (if enabled).
Track progress: The badge shows how many messages you’ve sent today, and the popup shows global stats. Your personal streak updates automatically.

Settings:
General: Default email prefill.
Notifications: Enable/disable notifications, sound, daily reminders, and choose reminder time.
Privacy & behavior: Auto‑detect location (for the location toggle), show/hide the floating button on supported sites.
Actions: Clear message history, export data, reset settings to defaults.

Permissions:
storage: Save your preferences, settings, history, and streak locally.
notifications: Show reminders and “message sent” confirmations.
geolocation: Only used when you choose to share your location (country/city) with a message.
Host permissions (kindnesssender.com): Connect securely to the KindnessSender API to fetch stats, validate content, and deliver messages.
Content script: Inserts a small floating button on selected social/news sites for faster access to the popup. It does not scrape page content.

Privacy & Data:
Local only by default: Preferences, history, streaks, and notification history are stored in Chrome storage on your device.
Message delivery: When you send, the message and optional country/city are transmitted to the KindnessSender API over HTTPS. The extension includes a header to identify itself so the server can apply extension‑appropriate security.
Controls: You can clear history, export data, reset settings, and toggle the floating button, location sharing, reminders, and notifications at any time.
No tracking of browsing content: The content script adds UI (floating button/overlay) but does not read or collect page content.
