🌈 KiddoKeys turns your keyboard into a fullscreen playground your baby
or toddler can safely smash. Every letter, every number, every key
becomes a colorful animation, a silly emoji, or a cheerful sound — and
parents stay in control with a hidden corner-hold escape.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pin the KiddoKeys extension and click "▶ Start playing".
2. The whole screen turns into a fullscreen rainbow play area.
3. Your child taps the keyboard:
• A–Z and 0–9 → big colorful letters and numbers fly across the
screen with bouncy animations.
• Any other key (Tab, Space, F-keys, arrows, even Caps Lock) → a
friendly animal, fruit, or rocket emoji appears.
• Mouse clicks and touch taps → sparkly ripples and confetti.
4. To exit, hold the top-left corner for 2 seconds, or press Esc — the
parent menu opens with sound, theme, and exit controls.

FOUR BEAUTIFUL THEMES
🌈 Rainbow — animated rainbow gradient with floating colored blobs and
twinkling stars.
🪐 Space — deep night sky, glowing moon, Saturn with rings, red planet,
and three diagonal shooting stars.
🐠 Ocean — sky-to-deep-sea blue gradient with sun rays, rising bubbles
and swaying seaweed.
🍭 Candy — pastel pink/yellow background with polka dots and floating
sweet emojis.

SAFE & PRIVATE
KiddoKeys requests ZERO permissions. No tabs access, no storage access,
no network access, no scripting. The only thing the extension can do is
open its own playground page. Your child's keystrokes never leave the
device — there is no analytics, no telemetry, no "anonymous data
collection". Promise.

PARENT FEATURES
• Hold top-left corner for 2 seconds → opens the parent menu.
• Press Esc → opens the same menu (and any key from there returns to
the start screen, ready to restart).
• Toggle sound, theme, and confetti.
• Adjust everything without ever losing your spot.

KiddoKeys works with physical keyboards, touchscreens, and trackpads.

• Pleasant pentatonic-scale sounds generated in real time — they're
always in tune, never harsh, and you can mute them in the parent
menu.
• Built-in respect for prefers-reduced-motion for kids with sensory

• Right-click and drag-and-drop are blocked so toddlers can't
accidentally save the page or open links.
• Tab-close confirmation so a stray "ctrl-W" doesn't end the fun.

LIMITATIONS WE WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT
Browsers don't allow any extension to fully block Esc, Cmd/Ctrl+W,
Cmd/Ctrl+Q or Alt+F4 — that's a security feature of the web.
