The storage permission is required to save and retrieve user preferences and data related to the JUST Extension’s features. Specifically, it is used to:
Store theme settings (e.g., dark mode preference)
Save GPA calculator inputs for quick access and user continuity
Remember selected university links or shortcuts
Persist auto-fill settings for course evaluation and registration tools
This ensures a smoother and more personalized experience for students without requiring repeated user input. The extension does not store or sync any sensitive personal data beyond these functional settings.
