JobPilot AI supercharges your job applications. Open the sidepanel on any job posting to generate tailored resumes, cover letters, screening question answers, and auto-fill application forms — all powered by your own OpenAI API key.

Paste or extract a job description and generate a resume customized to match. Choose from 15 professional templates. Export as PDF or DOCX with configurable filename templates.

Cover Letter Generation
Get personalized cover letters that connect your experience to each role's requirements. Refine with natural-language instructions. Export as DOCX, PDF, or TXT.

Screening Q&A
Paste screening questions and get AI-generated answers based on your resume and the job description. Refine individual answers or all at once.

Auto-Fill Applications
Detect form fields on job application pages and fill them automatically. Pre-configure defaults for work authorization, salary expectations, demographics, and more. Currently supports Ashby, Lever, Greenhouse-powered job boards, with more platforms coming soon.

Salary & ATS Analysis
See estimated salary ranges and an ATS Fit Score showing how well your resume matches the job's requirements before you apply.

Application History
Track every application with generated content. Search by job title or domain, filter by date, and review past submissions.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Sign up and add your OpenAI API key
2. Upload your resume
3. Visit any job posting and open the sidepanel
4. Extract the job description, generate content, and apply

Automatically extracts job descriptions from 10 popular ATS platforms, with more added regularly. You can also request support for additional job boards from the extension settings.

CONFIGURATION

- Choose from any OpenAI model, with per-action model overrides
- Configure keyboard shortcuts for all major actions
- Customize AI prompts for each generation type (if enabled)
- Set up autofill defaults for common application fields

Requires your own OpenAI API key. All AI processing uses your key directly — your data is never shared with third parties.
