Image Workbench

Image Workbench is a fast image inspection and editing toolkit that opens directly in your browser’s side panel. Right click any image on the web and open it in Image Workbench to instantly see an image's metadata without leaving the page, making it quick and easy to inspect AI-generated images.

Image Workbench automatically detects AI metadata, shows generation details like prompts, models, seeds, and other parameters when available, and helps you understand how an image was created. If an image includes C2PA Content Credentials, Image Workbench also displays provenance information such as creator tools, source type, and edit history.

All metadata is shown in a clean, readable way with one-click copy for easy reuse.

Beyond AI inspection, Image Workbench is a complete image toolkit. It reads standard image metadata such as EXIF, IPTC, XMP, ICC color profiles, and PNG text data. It can extract dominant colors from any image, generate harmonious color schemes, and let you pick exact colors directly from the image, with export options for common design and developer formats.

Image Workbench also includes a quick and easy image editor for adjustments and creative edits. You can crop, rotate, resize, adjust color and lighting, apply filters and effects, add padding or rounded corners, and export the result in common image formats with quality control. Every edit is reversible, and your original image is never changed.

Everything runs entirely offline in your browser. There are no accounts, no tracking, and no uploads. Your images and metadata always stay on your device.
