Hover is a minimalist PDF reader built for people who spend way too much time reading academic papers in the browser.
It strips away everything unnecessary and reimagines the entire academic reading experience with a cohesive next-generation UI system with a light-weight package and complete local experience.

+ Paper Trail system (Experimental):
Tracks your trail from one paper to other through citation abstract preview jumps.
Up to 8 trails can be saved, you can star trails to prevent them from being erased.
+ Action Tool system:
Search tool button at the top-right corner now becomes an action button.
Drawing tool: Smooth line drawing support that can be embedded into exported PDFs.
Crop Tool: You can crop any area on the paper and get a high resolution rendering image to add to your clipboard.

Hover over any citation and instantly see the full reference. Say goodbye to scrolling to the bottom of the page. Click once to browse the paper's abstract without ever leaving the current page.
+ The Navigation Ball
A compact, beautifully designed controller that replaces the traditional toolbar clutter:
-- Left-click to open the standard toolbar
-- Double-click to jump to the top of the document
-- Drag vertically to scroll freely without touching your mouse wheel
-- Drag horizontally to reveal the table of contents and jump to any section
