Overview
Google Docs Image Copier lets you copy images from Google Docs directly to your system clipboard.
What it does
- Adds a small "Copy" button when an image is selected in Google Docs
- Copies the original image to your clipboard—no downloads needed
- Works entirely locally in your browser; no data is collected or sent
How to use
1. Open a document in Google Docs
2. Click an image to select it
3. Click the "Copy" button that appears
4. Paste anywhere that accepts images (design tools, chat, docs)
Permissions
- Clipboard: to write the image directly to your clipboard
- docs.google.com: to show the button and access the selected image
Tip
- Press Shift+C while an image is selected to copy even faster (not sure if this works — didn't exactly test it)
