AI selects the best-matching topic category for each senator's contact form so you don't have to hunt through dropdown menus
You review and edit the draft, then click to open each senator's contact form
The extension automatically fills every field--prefix, name, address, email, phone, ZIP, topic, message subject, and body--so you just solve the CAPTCHA and hit Submit

Multi-step form support
Many House representative contact forms are multi-step wizards where new fields appear after clicking "Next". The extension watches for those new fields and fills whatever it recognizes at each step--first name, last name, address, city, state, ZIP, phone, and email--so you don't have to re-type your info page after page.

Privacy
Your contact info is stored locally on your device via Chrome's built-in storage. When you draft a letter, your name and address are sent transiently to our server and the Google Gemini API to sign the letter--they are not stored after the letter is generated. Q: Do I need the extension?
A: No--but without it you'd need to manually copy and paste your contact info and the drafted message into each legislator's contact form. The extension makes the whole thing nearly effortless.

Q: Does this work for both senators?
A: Yes. Every state has two U.S. senators, and GoodCat opens a separate contact form for each--auto-filled and ready to submit.

Q: Does this work for House representatives too?
A: The extension will fill any recognized fields (name, address, phone, email, etc.) on *.house.gov contact forms, including multi-step wizards. Drafting and topic selection are currently optimized for senators, but your contact info will auto-fill on House rep forms as well.

Q: What if my senator's contact form isn't supported?
A: GoodCat works with the vast majority of senate contact forms. The extension handles dropdowns, text fields, and varied form layouts across different congressional websites. If auto-fill doesn't trigger, you can use the built-in paste guide to copy each field individually.
