Overview
Global Video Hotkeys lets you control video playback across all browser windows with global keyboard shortcuts. Press a hotkey to play, pause, or seek forward/backward on every active tab — even when the browser isn't focused. Perfect for taking notes while watching a video: pause and resume without ever leaving your text editor. Configurable seek duration and keybindings.
Troubleshooting:
Hotkeys are not working:
- Autoplay has to be allowed in the site settings of the page the video is played on
- Make sure that the shortcuts to control the player are set to global
