What this extension does
Get YouTube Transcript lets you quickly extract and copy transcripts from YouTube videos when captions are available.
How it works
The extension runs only on YouTube video pages and reads caption data already provided by YouTube. All processing happens locally in your browser when you choose to copy the transcript.
Privacy
This extension does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. No analytics, tracking, or third-party services are used.
Permissions
The extension requires clipboard access only to copy the transcript when you click the copy button. It runs exclusively on youtube.com video pages.
