How to Export Your Facebook Data

To use Frenometer, you need your Facebook data export. Follow these steps:

1. Open Meta Accounts Center: Click your Profile Picture (top right) → Settings & privacy → Settings → Accounts Center.
2. Request Download: Go to Your information and permissions → Export your information → Create export.
3. Select Your Profile: Choose the Facebook profile you want to analyze and click Next.
4. Select Data Types: Do not choose "All available information." Select only Comments and Reactions and Friends.
5. Choose Destination: Export to device.
6. Configure Format: Set Date Range to Last year or All time. Change Format from HTML to JSON (Frenometer cannot read HTML files). Set Media Quality to Low.
7. Download: Click Start export. Once Facebook notifies you the file is ready, download the ZIP.
8. Analyze: Open Frenometer and drop the ZIP file into the upload zone. Your results appear instantly.

Privacy & Security

Frenometer never asks for your Facebook password and has no access to your live account. It only reads the specific JSON files inside your export, and your personal data is never uploaded to any server.
