Freeform Text Copy

Tired of struggling to select text in complex layouts, columns, or specific areas of a webpage? Freeform Text Copy makes it easy!

Simply click the extension icon, then click and drag anywhere on the page (or inside an iframe) to draw a selection box. The extension intelligently copies only the text visually located within that box, directly to your clipboard.

Need to keep your formatting intact? We've added a layout preservation feature! Enable "Preserve page layout" in the extension options to automatically recreate visual spacing and keep your columns perfectly aligned when pasting. You can also temporarily toggle this feature on the fly by simply holding down the Alt key while drawing your selection box (the box will turn green so you know it's active!).
