Host Permission Use

This extension requires host permissions to access the weather API hosted on Vercel. The API provides real-time weather data for NFL and NCAA stadiums, enabling users to view accurate and timely weather updates. No personal user data is transmitted to the API, and all requests are limited to retrieving weather information for stadium coordinates.

Remote Code Use

Remote code is used to fetch data from trusted sources such as the OpenWeather API via our proxy hosted on Vercel. This is necessary to provide accurate, real-time weather information for stadiums. All code is securely deployed, and no user-provided data is processed or stored.

Storage Use

This extension uses Chrome's storage API to save user preferences, such as temperature unit selection (Fahrenheit or Celsius) and dark mode settings. Additionally, temporary weather data is cached to enable offline functionality. No personal user data is stored.
