Flux — Watch Together
View on Chrome Web StoreChrome will indicate if you already have this installed.
Overview
Flux lets you watch anime and video content in perfect sync with friends, no accounts, no sign-ups, no servers.
How it works:
Click "Create Room" to generate a unique room code, share it with a friend over Discord, WhatsApp, or any chat app. They paste it into the "Join Room" field and you're instantly synced. Play, pause, and seek, everything mirrors in real time.
Why Flux is different:
Most watch-party tools route your session through a central server. Flux uses pure peer-to-peer WebRTC, your browser connects directly to your friend's browser. No company can see what you're watching, when you're watching, or who you're watching with. The room code disappears the moment you close the tab.
Features:
• Real-time play / pause / seek synchronisation
• Automatic drift correction every 5 seconds
• Works on any streaming site with a standard HTML5 video player (Crunchyroll, HIDIVE, and more)
• Zero accounts or registration required
• No watch history stored, ever
• Minimal dark-themed popup UI, stays out of your way
Privacy by design:
Flux stores absolutely nothing. No cookies, no local storage, no telemetry. The only network traffic is the brief WebRTC handshake to establish the direct connection, after that, all data flows exclusively between you and your friend.
