Overview

Evigrade Meds shows the regulatory and evidence-based profile of a medication or dietary supplement right on the product page. Each card pulls from primary sources: FDA, EMA, AEMPS, MHRA, the Russian Ministry of Health (ГРЛС), Cochrane, NICE, NIH ODS, LactMed, and the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines.

What you see on the card:

– Pharmacologic category and active substance under its International Nonproprietary Name (INN)
– Pregnancy safety profile (FDA PLLR, EMA SmPC, AEMPS Ficha técnica, where applicable)
– Lactation safety profile (LactMed, e-lactancia, Hale's, AEMPS)
– Citations with the date of the last verification – every fact carries a source
– Dose and toxicity block for fat-soluble vitamins and omega-3 (NIH ODS Upper Intake Levels)
– Multiple ingredient tabs for combination products (D3 + K2, magnesium + zinc, etc.)
– Manual search field – paste an active substance to look it up without opening a product page

How it works:

1. Open a product page on a supported retailer.
2. A floating button appears at the bottom right with the ingredient name when the product is in our database.
3. Click it – the card opens with safety profile, dosing, and source citations linked to the primary regulator.

Supported retailers:

– iHerb (.com)
– Amazon (.com, .es, .co.uk, .de)
– VitaminShoppe (.com)
– Spain parafarmacias: mifarma.es, atida.com, promofarma.com, dosfarma.com, druni.es
– Russia pharmacies and marketplaces: apteka.ru, eapteka.ru, zdravcity.ru, Wildberries (.ru, .am, .by, .kz, .uz, .kg), Ozon (.ru, .com)

What we do NOT do:

– No medical advice. No diagnosis. No treatment decisions.
– No substitute for a consultation with a doctor or pharmacist.
– Not a medical device under FDA SaMD, MDR (EU 2017/745), MHRA, or equivalent regulations.
– No clinical decision support functions as defined under MDR Annex VIII Rule 11.

Editorial independence:

Evigrade does not accept funding, sponsorship, or advertising revenue from pharmaceutical manufacturers, supplement producers, contract research organisations, distributors, or retail platforms whose products are referenced. No affiliate links, no commission partnerships. Editorial decisions are made independently based on regulatory documents and peer-reviewed publications.

Privacy:

The extension works anonymously. Pages you view, medications you look up, and items in your personal lists are not transmitted to our servers. The only data sent to the backend is the ingredient query string from the active retailer page, to match it against the catalog. Optional analytics is opt-out. Statement on dietary supplements: statements regarding dietary supplements have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
