Duplicate Tab Alert

Duplicate Tab Alert is a lightweight Chrome extension designed to help users identify and manage duplicate browser tabs in a simple and organized way.

The extension scans open tabs and detects pages that share the same or similar URLs. Duplicate tabs are grouped together in a clear list, allowing users to quickly see where unnecessary duplicates exist. Users can focus an existing tab or close extra duplicate tabs directly from the extension interface.

Several optional matching rules are available, such as ignoring URL parameters or page fragments, to make duplicate detection more flexible and accurate. All actions are performed only when the user opens the extension and interacts with it.

Duplicate Tab Alert works entirely within the browser. It does not track browsing behavior, collect personal data, or transmit any information externally. The goal is to help users keep their tab list clean and reduce clutter while browsing.
