Overview
Draw in the Air is an interactive, browser-based learning platform that lets children draw, trace, and play games using only their hands.
Built for modern browsers and Chromebooks, the app uses advanced, local-only webcam tracking to translate hand gestures into on-screen actions. Kids can pinch to draw, trace the alphabet, and pop bubbles without touching a mouse, trackpad, or screen.
Key Features:
- Free Paint Mode: Draw anything with your finger in the air using vibrant colors and particle effects.
- Educational Tracing: Learn to write by tracing letters (A-Z), numbers, and shapes with real-time visual feedback.
- Interactive Games: Play Bubble Pop and Sort & Place to develop hand-eye coordination and spatial reasoning.
- Pinch-to-Draw Control: Intuitive gesture system — pinch your thumb and index finger to draw, open your hand to pause.
- School & Chromebook Ready: Runs smoothly in the browser, making it perfect for classroom deployment and at-home learning.
Privacy by Design:
All camera processing happens entirely locally on your device using on-device AI — we do not record, save, store, or transmit any video footage. No personal data is collected. The platform requires no accounts and children cannot be identified.
