Sheets renders its grid on a canvas element — something most extensions get completely wrong, leaving the cells white while only the toolbar goes dark. DarkWave handles this correctly: the entire spreadsheet, every cell, every row, goes dark. Docs works seamlessly too. Same extension, no extra setup.

🧠 SMART DARK-PAGE DETECTION

Applying dark mode to a page that already has its own dark theme inverts it — turning it accidentally light. DarkWave detects native dark backgrounds automatically and skips those pages. If you want to force dark mode anyway (or override the detection), just toggle the site switch in the popup. Your preference is saved permanently for that domain.

HOW TO USE
─────────────────────────────
1. Click the DarkWave moon icon in your toolbar to open the popup
2. Toggle "Global Dark Mode" to turn on dark mode for all sites
3. Use ⌥ +Shift+D to toggle without opening the popup
4. Visit any site — dark mode applies automatically with zero flash
5. On a site with its own dark theme? DarkWave auto-skips it. Use the site toggle to force override if needed
6. Adjust brightness, contrast, and presets until it feels right

That's it. No configuration required to get started.
