Ever wondered how much your Claude.ai usage actually costs? Claude Spend helps you understand where your tokens are going right inside your browser.

Features:

Local Dashboard: See your estimated total spend and token count directly from the extension popup.
Cost Breakdown: View a history of your detailed prompts, the model used (e.g. Sonnet), and the estimated token count and API-equivalent cost for each prompt.
Global Benchmarking (Coming Soon): To help the community understand general usage patterns, the extension sends your anonymous usage data (including prompts, token counts, and cost estimates) to a secure remote MongoDB server. In the future, you'll be able to compare your usage efficiency directly against the global aggregate!

How it Works: The extension runs entirely in the background. It intercepts network requests exclusively on claude.ai to estimate the token cost of each prompt you send. Your usage data is stored simultaneously in your local browser storage (for your quick-view dashboard) and our secure server (for the benchmarking study).
