Clarity helps you control your use of AI chat tools by blocking and/or tracking usage. Choose Block for timed focus sessions, Track for private on-device analytics, or use both. Works with ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Perplexity, and any sites you add.

PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS
We do not collect, transmit, or sell personal data. Usage stats and settings are stored locally in your browser.

HOW TO USE
(1) Install and pin the extension.
(2) Track your usage (private, on-device).
(3) When you want to cut down, open Focus and start a Block session: choose a duration and press Start. The popup becomes a countdown and AI sites stay blocked until time’s up.
(4) Add extra domains under Custom if you want to block more.
(5) Check Streaks for days installed (streak resets if you uninstall).

• Alarms: run the countdown timer reliably in the background
• Tabs: detect and redirect when you try to open blocked sites
• Idle: check when your device is active or idle so timers pause/resume correctly
• Scripting: inject or remove small bits of code to enable blocking/tracking features
