Overview

Chromogotchi is a tiny digital pet that lives in your browser toolbar. Its mood is driven entirely by your tab behavior.

Open a new tab? Your pet gets a little more anxious. Switch between tabs rapidly? More anxiety. Hoard 20+ tabs? Full-on panic mode.

Close some tabs and it calms back down. Keep your browsing tidy and your pet stays chill.

HOW IT WORKS
- A single anxiety score (hidden) tracks your pet's stress level
- Opening tabs and switching between them increases anxiety
- Closing tabs decreases anxiety
- Having many tabs open adds constant pressure
- The toolbar icon changes expression and color to reflect the current mood

FOUR MOOD STATES
- Chill (green) — few tabs, calm browsing
- Uneasy (yellow) — starting to feel the tab pressure
- Stressed (orange) — too many tabs, too much switching
- Panicking (red) — close some tabs, please

STATS VIEW
Toggle to a stats view to see your daily tab habits: tabs opened, tabs closed, tab switches, and current tab count.

Chromogotchi uses only the tabs, storage, and alarms permissions. No data leaves your browser. No accounts. No tracking.
