CheckSite lets you set up website monitors in seconds. Visit any page, click the extension, describe what you want to track, and you're done. Our intelligent backend handles the rest - checking for changes at your chosen frequency and notifying you by email when something changes.

How it works:
1. Visit any webpage you want to monitor
2. Click the CheckSite extension icon
3. Optionally describe what to track (e.g., "price drops", "new job listings", "stock availability")
4. Choose how often to check (every 1, 2, 4, 8, or 24 hours)
5. Get email notifications when changes are detected

Permissions - and why we need them:
- Active Tab: To read the URL and title of the page you're viewing when you open the extension
- Storage: To remember your login session and theme preference
- checksite.app: To communicate with the CheckSite backend for authentication and monitor management

We don't inject scripts into pages, don't collect browsing history, and don't access any page content. The extension only reads the URL and title of the current tab when you actively open the popup.
