## ChatGPT to Markdown

Export ChatGPT conversations as clean Markdown, then copy, download, save to Obsidian, or send directly to Notion.

This extension adds a simple export panel inside ChatGPT so you can quickly turn long chats into reusable notes and documents.

### How to use
1. Open a conversation in ChatGPT
https://chatgpt.com/
2. Click the Markdown icon in the top-right corner to open the `ChatGPT to Markdown` sidebar
3. Wait for the conversation to be converted into Markdown
4. Choose one of the export actions:
- Copy
- Export `.md`
- Save to Obsidian
- Save to Notion
5. Edit the generated Markdown if needed before saving or copying

### Notion export
- Connect your Notion account from the extension when prompted
- Choose an existing page or database as the save location
- Create a new database from the export drawer if needed
- Open the saved page in Notion after export

### Obsidian export
- Send the current conversation directly to Obsidian as a new note
- Great for building a local knowledge base from ChatGPT conversations
