How it works

4. Blocked sites show a friendly focus reminder page
5. Complete your session to grow your tree and earn coins
6. Take a break, then start again

Optional site blocking

Canopy can block distracting websites during active focus sessions. When you use blocking for the first time, Chrome will ask for permission to access websites in order to block or redirect the sites in your blocklist.

This permission is only used to block or redirect sites you choose during active focus sessions. Canopy does not track your browsing history, collect page data for analytics, or capture keystrokes.

If you don't want to grant this permission, Canopy still works as a standalone focus timer with sounds, streaks, and stats.
