Overview
BriefFeed adds compact AI summaries near social posts, discussion threads, comments, repository pages, selected articles, and podcast Show Notes you already read. It helps you decide what deserves attention without leaving the page or losing the original context.
You can save useful summaries as bookmarks, review them later in BriefFeed, generate lightweight insights from saved or viewed items, and optionally send selected sources to external research tools such as Notion or NotebookLM.
External sync is optional and runs only after you enable it. Notion uses the token and data source you configure. Experimental NotebookLM export uses the current browser's Google session and target notebook. Sync and export payloads are sent directly from your browser to the external service and are not routed through BriefFeed servers.
BriefFeed only summarizes content that is already loaded and visible in your browser. For podcast episode pages, summaries are based on visible Show Notes and episode metadata only. BriefFeed does not fetch audio, transcripts, RSS feeds, comments, account data, cookies, or hidden platform APIs.
Privacy and control:
- Summaries are created from visible page content only.
- BriefFeed does not collect cookies, account credentials, session tokens, follower graphs, private messages, or hidden platform API payloads.
- BriefFeed does not store Google cookies or NotebookLM frontend tokens.
- BriefFeed does not fetch unread content in the background or crawl sites.
- You can turn BriefFeed on or off from the extension popup.
