Overview
BluOS Controller lets you control your BluOS-compatible speakers and audio players directly from your Chrome toolbar. No extra apps, no cloud services, everything stays on your local network.
What it does:
- Control multiple BluOS devices from a single popup
- Play, pause, skip tracks, and go back
- Adjust volume with a smooth slider
- Mute and unmute with one click
- See what is currently playing (track title and artist)
- Load saved presets on any device
- Scan your local network to automatically discover BluOS players
- Manually add devices by IP address
- Online/offline status indicator for each device
- Dark, minimal interface designed to stay out of your way
How it works:
BluOS Controller communicates directly with your BluOS devices over your local network using the BluOS API on port 11000. No account, no login, no cloud. Your data never leaves your network.
When you add a device or scan your network, Chrome will ask for permission to access local network addresses. This is required so the extension can talk to your speakers. No external servers are contacted.
Device IP addresses are saved locally in your browser so you do not have to re-enter them each time.
Compatible with all BluOS-enabled devices including Bluesound, NAD Electronics, DALI, and other BluOS-powered speakers and streamers.
Privacy:
No data collection. No analytics. No tracking. No cookies. No external services. All communication stays on your local network. See the full privacy policy for details.
