Better Video For X

Make videos on X easier to watch from the keyboard.

Better Video for X adds reliable controls that keep working even when X moves focus, changes its player layout, or shows several videos at once. The extension automatically targets the visible video nearest the center of the screen.

KEYBOARD CONTROLS
• Space — play or pause without scrolling the page
• Left / Right Arrow — seek backward or forward by five seconds
• 0–9 — jump to 0% through 90% of the video
• F — toggle true fullscreen for the video itself
• M — mute or unmute
• C — show or hide captions when available

BETTER VIDEO UX
• Removes the distracting blue focus outline only around X video viewers
• Keeps useful keyboard focus indicators elsewhere on the site
• Works with paused videos and after switching tabs or apps
• Never fullscreens the surrounding post, dialog, or page column

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything runs locally in your browser. Better Video for X collects no data, uses no analytics, contacts no remote services, and requests no Chrome API permissions.

Site access is limited to x.com and twitter.com because the extension must detect visible video elements there to provide its controls.
