Atar Mate

ATAR Mate is a study tool for Australian senior secondary students who work with official past examination PDFs.

Open supported VCE, HSC, QCE and WACE exam papers in a focused PDF viewer, annotate directly on the paper, keep notes with your account, and study with side-by-side guidance and solutions.

What you can do with ATAR Mate:

- Open supported official exam PDFs in a built-in study viewer
- Highlight, draw and add notes directly on the paper
- Navigate questions more easily while studying
- View study guidance and solutions side by side
- Save annotations locally, with optional account sync
- Open local PDFs from your device
- Use the toolbar popup to connect your account, open PDFs and return to the ATAR Mate website

ATAR Mate is built for students who want a cleaner workflow for past-paper practice. Instead of switching between a PDF, notes, screenshots and solution pages, you can keep your study session in one browser-based workspace.

How it works:

1. Install the extension.
2. Open a supported official exam PDF from VCAA, NESA, QCAA or SCSA, or open a local PDF.
3. ATAR Mate opens the paper in its study viewer.
4. Annotate, review and save your work.
5. Sign in to sync notes to your ATAR Mate account.

Privacy and transparency:

ATAR Mate stores annotations on your device. If you sign in, your annotations can sync to your ATAR Mate account. ATAR Mate does not sell user data.

ATAR Mate is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to VCAA, NESA, QCAA, SCSA or any other examination authority. Official examination PDFs remain the property and responsibility of their respective publishing authorities.
