Ascend — Blackboard Bridge connects your Blackboard LMS to the Ascend
study platform (www.ascendstudy.app), so your course materials are
automatically organized and ready for AI-powered studying.

What it does:
- Detects your Blackboard courses, assignments, grades, and
announcements
- Captures Mediasite lecture video transcripts
- Syncs everything to your Ascend account with one click
- AI automatically generates flashcards, quizzes, and study plans from
your materials

How it works:
1. Install the extension
2. Sign in to your school's Blackboard
3. The extension detects your courses and materials
4. Open Ascend and sync — your study materials are organized by course

Who needs this extension?
Students whose school uses Blackboard Learn or Blackboard Ultra. If
your school uses Canvas, Brightspace, or Moodle, you can connect
directly in the Ascend app without this extension.

Privacy:
- Your data goes directly from Blackboard to your Ascend account
- No data is sold or shared with third parties
- The extension only activates on Blackboard and Mediasite pages
