Arkena Wallet

Arkena Wallet is a self-custody cryptocurrency wallet for the Canton Network, a high-throughput, privacy-preserving public blockchain backed by Digital Asset and the Global Synchronizer Foundation.

Key features

• Self-custody. Your seed phrase and private key are encrypted locally with PBKDF2-SHA256 (600,000 iterations) and AES-GCM-256. They never leave your device. We cannot see your funds, recover your password, or freeze your wallet.
• Canton Coin (CC) and USDCx support. Real-time multi-token balance with send and receive flows, a full transaction history, and live USD price quotes.
• NFT gallery and transfer. View your NFTs grouped by collection and send any NFT to another Canton party in a single signing flow.
• dApp connectivity. Sign Canton transactions for any web app through the standard window.arkena provider, which is compatible with the EIP-6963 and CIP-103 wallet discovery standards.
• Notifications. An in-popup inbox alongside a toolbar action badge so you never miss an incoming transfer, a sale, or a reward.
• Smart receive. A one-time preapproval setup lets others send you USDCx and NFTs without requiring a signature for every transfer.

Security

• Private keys never touch our backend.
• 24-word BIP-39 recovery phrase, with an optional separate password.
• Brute-force protection: five wrong attempts trigger an exponential cooldown (30 s, 1 min, 5 min).
• Auto-lock after a configurable inactivity period.
• Phishing defence: every signing request shows the requesting origin, with iframe detection so a hidden frame cannot piggyback on a trusted parent's URL bar.
• Open standards: EIP-6963 and CIP-103 provider discovery, Ed25519 signatures, and RFC 7231 rate-limit handling.

Self-custody comes with responsibility. Please back up your 24-word recovery phrase before adding funds. There is no password recovery process, and we cannot help you regain access if you lose it.
