Apex Browser

Apex Browser is a parental-controlled browsing environment built for homeschool families, supervised learners, and focused study time.

Parents configure everything through the Apex console. Kids get a clean, distraction-free browser with only the sites you've approved — no address bar, no new tabs, no way to navigate outside what you've set up.

What the extension does:
— Keeps all browsing inside the Apex environment
— Strips iframe-blocking headers so educational sites load directly inside Apex
— Sites that can't load in-frame open as clean popup windows with your Apex controls visible
— Blocks browser-based AI tools, search engines, social media, and distractions
— New tabs automatically redirect back to Apex
— Intercepts navigation away from approved sites

For complete device lockdown, pair with Google Family Link. Apex controls the browser layer. Family Link controls the OS layer — screen capture, system settings, and app access. Together they provide comprehensive coverage on personal Chromebooks.

Privacy:
Apex does not collect any personal information from students. Children never create accounts or submit data directly. The only information collected is the administrator's email address used to create the parent account. Browsing activity is stored privately and is only visible to the administrator. Requires an Apex Browser account at apexbrowser.app. The extension enhances the Apex experience but Apex also works without it as a PWA.
