Overview
Annotated turns the entire web into a place you can quote, react to, and discuss — without ripping content from its source.
Highlight a passage from an article, scrub a 90-second clip from a YouTube video, or grab a snippet from any audio or video on the page. Add your commentary in text or as a voice memo. Publish it to your profile and a public social feed where the original source is always one click away.
How it works
Open the Annotated side panel on any web page.
The extension automatically detects what's on the page — an article, a podcast, a YouTube video, or anything you've highlighted.
Trim the clip, write your take (or record audio commentary), and publish.
Every annotation gets a permalink with the clip embedded next to your commentary, your handle, and a back-link to the original source.
Built for the open web
90-second video and audio clips with start/end timestamp scrubbing

Sign in with Google or X. Annotated stores only what you choose to publish — your browsing stays your own.
Annotated is for people who quote things on the internet for a living, and for everyone else who's tired of screenshotting tweets. Clip the source, share your take, link back to the truth.
