Important Limitations:
Language Support: Currently, this extension ONLY supports Dutch-to-English. Support for other languages is planned for future versions.

Requirements: This extension requires the Anki desktop application to be running with the AnkiConnect add-on installed.

Turn any webpage into an interactive language-learning experience. The Anki Vocabulary Highlighter bridges the gap between your online reading and your Anki flashcard routine, making vocabulary acquisition seamless and efficient.
The extension intelligently scans webpages for Dutch words and highlights those that are not yet in your personal "known words" list.

Core Features:
Intelligent Highlighting: Automatically highlights tens of thousands of Dutch words that you haven't marked as 'known' yet. As you learn, pages become less cluttered.
Live Translation on Hover: Simply hover your mouse over any highlighted word. After a brief pause, a pop-up will appear with a high-quality English translation or definition.
One-Click Anki Card Creation: Send any highlighted word directly to your Anki deck with a single click. The flashcard is automatically created with the Dutch word on the front and its English translation and the original context sentence on the back.
Personalized Dictionary: When you encounter a word you already know, just click "I know this word" to add it to your personal dictionary. It will no longer be highlighted on any page, instantly.

How It Works:
Browse any webpage with Dutch text. The extension will automatically highlight words you likely don't know.
Hover your mouse over a yellow-highlighted word.
A small window appears, fetching the English translation for you.
Click "Send to Anki" to instantly create a new, context-rich flashcard.
Click "I know this word" to add it to your known list and remove all highlights for that word on the current page.

Requirements:
For the "Send to Anki" feature to work, you MUST have:
The Anki Desktop Application installed and running on your computer.
The AnkiConnect add-on installed and configured within Anki. (Add-on code: 2055492159)
