Overview
Anchor is a behavioral risk management extension built for futures traders using TradingView.
Most traders don’t lose money because of poor strategy. They lose money because of emotional decision-making during live trading such as revenge trading, breaking daily loss limits, or abandoning their trading plan after a losing trade.
Anchor introduces structure into the trading session by enforcing discipline rules directly inside TradingView.
The extension monitors realized P&L changes and triggers structured interventions when predefined risk limits are violated.
Key Features
Real-Time Trade Monitoring
Anchor detects realized P&L changes directly from the TradingView trading panel without requiring broker API access.
Cooldown Enforcement
When discipline thresholds are breached, Anchor temporarily blocks chart interaction and forces a cooldown period to interrupt impulsive trading behavior.
Structured Reflection Prompts
Before trading access returns, traders complete short reflection prompts designed to reset decision-making and reinforce rule adherence.
Daily Loss Limit Enforcement
Anchor can enforce daily drawdown limits by locking trading access after the user-defined loss threshold is reached.
Multiple Discipline Modes
Users can configure different enforcement modes depending on their trading style, including structured cooldowns and stricter reset protocols.
Local-First Privacy
All data is stored locally in the browser using Chrome storage. Anchor does not transmit trading data to external servers.
Who Anchor Is For
• Futures traders using TradingView
• Prop firm traders managing funded accounts
• Traders who struggle with revenge trading or discipline breakdowns
• Traders who want structured risk enforcement during live sessions
Anchor does not place trades, connect to broker accounts, or provide trading signals. It functions purely as a behavioral discipline layer designed to help traders follow their own rules.
