Aloud

Aloud reads text out loud. Select any text on a page and have it spoken in a natural voice, or read the whole article hands-free.

Aloud uses your own Google Cloud or OpenAI text-to-speech key, so you choose the voice and pay nothing to the developer. Google's free monthly allowance covers typical everyday reading at no cost.

Your privacy
Aloud sends the text you choose to read to the voice provider you pick (Google or OpenAI), using your own key, purely to generate the audio. Your key and settings are stored only on your device. Nothing is sent to the developer — no ads, no analytics, no tracking.
