🔬 How This App Works

Our extension runs a multi-layered facial analysis engine entirely inside your browser using face-api.js — a proven machine learning library built on TensorFlow.js. Here's what happens under the hood when you upload your photo:

🧠 Step 1 — Face Detection

The TinyFaceDetector ML model scans your image and locates your face with precision, mapping out the exact position and boundaries of your facial structure.

📍 Step 2 — Landmark Mapping

A 68-point facial landmark model plots key coordinates across your face — eyes, nose, mouth, jaw, cheekbones, and brow — creating a detailed geometric map unique to you.

📐 Step 3 — Symmetry Analysis

Left and right facial halves are mathematically compared. Higher symmetry correlates strongly with perceived attractiveness across cultures and is one of the most studied metrics in aesthetic research.

🌀 Step 4 — Golden Ratio Calculation

Your facial proportions are measured against the Golden Ratio (φ = 1.618) — the mathematical proportion found in nature that humans instinctively find pleasing. Face height vs. width, nose length vs. face height, and more are evaluated.

All six traits are combined using a weighted algorithm to produce your overall score out of 10, placing you in one of 7 tiers:

📖 How to Use This App

Getting your beauty score takes less than 30 seconds. Follow these simple steps:

① Install the Extension
Click "Add to Chrome" on this page, then confirm by clicking "Add Extension" in the popup dialog.

② Open the Extension
Look for the 👑 crown icon in your Chrome toolbar (top-right). Click it to open the AI Attractiveness Test panel.
