Ai Assist

AI Assist is a browser-first meeting companion that runs on your machine.
You bring your own keys, your data stays on your device, and the
transcripts + summaries are encrypted before they ever leave your laptop.

WHAT IT DOES

• Captures live meeting audio from Google Meet (Zoom Web + Teams coming
soon), transcribes it to a searchable record on your own device.
• Auto-generates concise meeting summaries — TL;DR, key points,
decisions, action items — without ever sending the raw audio
through our servers.
• Surfaces grounded "findings" during the meeting, citing notes and
documents from folders you've shared with the desktop helper.
• Keeps everything searchable across past meetings if you opt into
cloud sync (optional, end-to-end encrypted, $5/mo).

WHO IT'S FOR

If you're tired of pretending to take notes while everyone else does
the same, AI Assist runs in the background and gives you the gist
afterward — without a third-party bot joining your call or your
audio being processed on a vendor's servers.

PRIVACY MODEL

• You bring your own API keys (Anthropic for the LLM, OpenAI for
Whisper transcription). We never see them.
• All meeting capture + summarization runs through a local helper
that you install on your Mac or Linux machine.
• If you turn on cloud sync, transcripts are encrypted on your device
with a key derived from your master key — the cloud only stores
ciphertext. We can't read your data even if we wanted to.

• Your own Anthropic API key (for the LLM).
• Your own OpenAI API key (for Whisper transcription).
• A free AI Assist account for browser pairing + optional cloud sync.

PRICING

• Free trial — 14 days, every feature except cloud sync.
• Desktop license — $49 one-time, perpetual access.
• Cloud sync — $5/month, optional, encrypted across devices.

The extension itself is free in the Chrome Web Store. The desktop
helper holds the license.
