Overview
This extension sets opt-out cookies on DoubleClick advertising domains according to Google's documented opt-out mechanism. When installed, it writes specific cookies ('id' and 'DSID' with 'OPT_OUT' values) that signal advertising networks to disable interest-based ad targeting. The extension monitors these cookies and restores them if they are removed, ensuring continuous opt-out status. All operations occur locally using Chrome's cookies API. No user data is collected or transmitted.
